Description of the day

After your reservation is confirmed, we will coordinate the meeting location and schedule with you. We will contact you one day before to confirm the final details, taking the weather conditions and other participants into account.

We will also request your height, weight, and equipment sizes so we can prepare the appropriate diving gear. All necessary equipment will be loaded into our vehicle before the start of the tour and is included in the service. You are also welcome to bring and use your own equipment if you prefer.

Starting the Day

We generally begin early so you can enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere and the first light of the day. The meeting time is usually around 9:00 a.m. The exact time will be confirmed with you the day before.

Pick-up will take place at your hotel or AirBNB, and all diving equipment will already be prepared in the vehicle. We carry a selection of spare wetsuits, BCDs, and other equipment to help ensure a comfortable fit.

Once we have checked your certifications and completed the required activity forms, we will begin the journey to the cave, cenote, or reef. During the trip, your guide will explain the day’s schedule, the planned dives, and what you can expect from the experience.

Your guide will provide useful advice to help you feel comfortable and confident while diving. Proper preparation is important, so please feel free to discuss your previous diving experience, questions, or concerns with your guide.

Upon arrival, we will set up the equipment and inspect everything together to make sure it is functioning properly. Your guide will check the tank pressure and complete a general equipment inspection before the dive.

Diving Day Itinerary

After the equipment has been prepared, your guide will take you on a short walk around the dive site. This allows you to become familiar with the surroundings, identify the entry point, and learn more about the planned dive route. Cameras are welcome, so feel free to bring yours.

We will then complete the final safety and dive briefing before entering the water for the first dive.

Depending on the schedule and logistics for the day, we may travel to a second dive-site for the second dive. If changing locations is necessary, your guide will inform you at the beginning of the day. The surface interval will be planned according to the conditions and details of the first dive.

Water and snacks will be available in the cooler inside the vehicle, so you are welcome to help yourself throughout the day.

Our return to Tulum is generally expected between approximately 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., depending on the cenotes visited, traffic, and the day’s logistics.
